Walker was born in 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Walker is of African-American descent and has the American passport. She is the daughter of Harvey Welker, a Native American father and Julie Welker, an African American mother. Her mother works as an agent in real estate while her father works as an engineer. She attended the Germantown Friends School, located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood, in 1994. She then attended Harvard College, where she received a Bachelors in Arts degree. Welker is engaged to John Hughes a well-known marketing director at Merck at Philadelphia and they have two kids. They began to have an affair with one other. John her husband, who is 4 years younger than her. They decided to bring their relationship to the next step because everything was getting so good. On the 4th March 2017, they tied the knot. Philadelphia Pennsylvania was the location for their wedding. At the Hyatt Hotel, they held an enormous and lavish wedding. The reception was open to close family and friends.
